Characteristics of one who is Righteous (Muttaqiin)

1. They spend ( in Allah's cause, i.e. charity ) whether in prosperity or adversity
2. Restrain their anger
3. Forgiving toward all men
4. After having done something to be ashamed of, immediately remembers Allah and asks for forgiveness
5. Do not knowingly persist in the wrong that they have done
